Kali terakhir jenama A Bathing Ape (BAPE) berkolaborasi bersama G-Shock adalah pada tahun 2018. Bagi meneruskan kerjasama baik antara kedua-dua jenama, BAPE dan G-Shock hadir dengan model kolaborasi baharu yang akan dilancarkan secara dalam talian pada 21 Mac 2020.

Model unik DW-5750 serta tema warna merah putih dipilih untuk kolaborasi BAPE dan G-Shock kali ini. Seperti biasa, logo rasmi BAPE dapat dilihat apabila lampu dinyalakan serta rekaan camo merah menghiasi permukaan hadapan jam.

A BATHING APE® is once again collaborating with G-SHOCK to introduce a new watch on Saturday, March 21st, exclusively available on BAPE.COM web store in Japan. The model that is being used as the basis is the first basic G-SHOCK model with a round face, the ‘DW-5700’ series, first released in 1987. This model has been brought back to life as the ‘DW-5750’ in 2018 for the 35th anniversary of G-SHOCK, reissued under the theme of ‘Back to the basics’ but making use of contemporary cutting-edge technology. For this collaboration, the watch face is dyed with A BATHING APE®’s striking red color and camo peeking out, accompanied with a white strap featuring the BAPE STA™ logo. There is also a playful feature where the ape head appears when the backlight is turned on in the dark. #bape #g_shock
